Over the past decade, Grand Ridge National Bank has grown and transformed from a small community bank into one of the best and top performing boutique banks in the nation, serving Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, and other select markets.  The bank’s continued growth and success has been driven by its unique and exceptional boutique approach to banking.

In 2010, Premier Commerce Bancorp, Inc. located in Wheaton, Illinois acquired Grand Ridge National Bank and brought to the Bank additional experience in many areas including commercial banking for small to mid-sized businesses and advanced online and mobile banking technology.

In 2011, Grand Ridge National Bank acquired a branch in Wheaton, Illinois, as a new base from which to expand its geographic market area.

In 2015, Grand Ridge National Bank expanded its presence by acquiring Winfield Community Bank located in Winfield, Illinois.  As part of the merger Grand Ridge National Bank operated out of the Winfield Community Bank location on Geneva Rd. in Winfield until 2017 when operations were moved just down the road to 500 S. County Farm Rd. in Wheaton.

In 2020, Grand Ridge National Bank expanded its service market with the opening of its first Florida office in Tampa, Florida. Tampa is a major business center with a thriving economy and culture. Our Tampa office serves as a key hub for our commercial banking business relationships in the area.

In 2023, Grand Ridge National Bank grew even further with the introduction of its first Wisconsin office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Milwaukee’s business culture makes it an ideal location to offer boutique commercial banking and serve as a main point of contact to GRNB clients.
